      DAAD: Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst

      International Academic Relations The "Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst" is a private, publicly funded, self-governing organization of higher education institutions in Germany. DAAD promotes international academic relations and cooperation by offering mobility programs primarily for students and faculty, but also for administrators and others in the higher education realm. The headquarters of DAAD is located in Bonn, Germany. If you are interested in studying in Germany, this website offers help with finding what to study and how to go about it. It offers resources and programs for study abroad, university language or summer courses, senior thesis research and/or internships in the Federal Republic of Germany.

      The Deutsches Studentenwerk
      The Deutsches Studentenwerk - DSW - is the voluntary national association of all The Studentenwerk organisations in Germany (organisations for student affairs). These organizations perform public responsibilities related to the economic, social, health-care and cultural support and promotion of students at German higher education institutions. The DSW provides information for students on all Studentenwerk organizations active on the Internet (link), provide educational assistance and up-to-date information on the Federal Educational Assistance Act about Scholarships and Grants (link) , General information on accommodation (link), Information on catering facilities (link) operated by the Studentenwerk organizations and much more.

      The International CDS

      CDS International (CDS), founded in 1968, is a non-profit organization committed to the advancement of international practical training opportunities for young professionals, and students. Today, CDS serves almost 1,400 individuals annually from over 50 other countries in Europe, Asia and South America in a variety of work/study, internship, and study tour programs. This program provides work authorization for Germany for enrolled students at, or recent graduates from U.S. universities and colleges. Participants find their own host companies and negotiate the terms of employment. Enrolled students can intern for up to 6 months, graduates might extend the program up to a total of 18 months. Programs start individually at the beginning of each month. Apply at least 3 weeks prior to your desired start date.
      Extra: a limited number of stipends for one-month language courses is available for qualified candidates.
